My favorite style was the chrome with the bumper guards like they had on the 7th gens. The only ones Ive found on 9th gens are all smashed up and the kits cost over 200$
I've seen more of the chrome maps than any other and mostly in the reg cabs. I really don't like the chrome. Wish they would have made a different one with maps for the reg cab. I've eyed a couple of overhead center consoles in some custom xcab 150's and 250's. Most are in pretty rough shape though. I think it would be cool, but all the wood is pretty much rotten and compartment doors missing.
1FTDF15Y6SLC02010 - you seem to have a line on allot of this info. If you come up with some kind of "Compatibility List", you'll go viral with us 9th gen owners. I'd love to see something like a "Direct Swap List". If you want to tackle that, I'd volunteer to try to help out on my days off. Radiators, Radios, Rear Diff's, Etc. Users can submit direct swaps and someone could add them to a posted list.

spent most of day searching junkyards for tbird dome lights and noticed from 93-96 theirs three different ones used. not sure if its different trim packages or availability of light at build location. but all the ones that look like my 95f150 dome light with driver and passenger map lights were chrome. the other two style none were chrome. all plastic and color of interior. can you put a pic of the light your talking about.
More differences...
My 96 F-150 had an oil pressure gauge with a single winding. Converting the stock gauge into a real gauge required a dual winding unit from an older truck... not sure of the break but I think it was around 93.
OBDII F150's use a different EGR setup, with a differential pressure sensor instead of a valve position sensor.
Airbag trucks got the crumple-zone frame horns up front.
Seems that there is no definite answer on which trucks got the transmission access panel in the floor of the cab, but I'm fairly certain every truck with a manual transfer case had it. The t-case shifter trim and beauty boot from one of these trucks will NOT fit a truck without the access panel. I know because I tried it. Had to use a boot from a 79 and shape it to fit my floorboards.
