Default 7.3L IDI with E4OD

Hi guys, i just fitted a 7.3L IDI in my 1989 F 150, im after a optishift to run my E4OD, r these controlers still avalible? Is this the best option?
I tried to use the standard powertrain module and have been unsuccessful in getting the E4OD to even work. I got the set up out of a 1994 F350 and have the harness up to the firewall. Will the Optishift be the way to go? Any help appreciated.
Regards ALS 150.

I have some pics on my profile, the resolution isn't the best. I'll post better ones later.

It took bit of work, left hand engine mount needs fabricated plate on crossmember, steering had to be made from scratch from firewall to steering box, had to shift steering box over 20mm.
Move transmission crossmember back, shorten the rear tail shaft & extend front shaft, change fuel system to diesel(new pump). Rebuild and upgrade E4OD, new cooling system for E4OD, in-line pre-cooler on chassis rail & dual core cooler with 11" thermo fan.
New heavy duty 4 core copper radiator with an Areoflow 2500cfm thermo fan, new digital monitoring temp controller.
Removed factory clutch fan and unfortunately had to remove the mechanical fuel pump as it was in the way of the steering box,( right hand drive).
Now the the fun of custom radiator hoses and the joy of every other line. But all in all not that bad a conversion to do.
Now the hard part was trying to to use the factory powertrain module, a few other guys and myself have been unsuccessful with getting the E4OD to operate. So an Optishift controller should answer my problems, so it's just a waiting game till I get the module & harness!

The stock radiator had to much wear to save it, it had a lot of damaged fins & some of the cores were looking a little choked. The new cooling system work system works great. Temp doesn't rise above 78 degrees celsius on a 35 degree day.
