Mate just like the previous comment i know what motor I put in. I didn't want a powerchoke, they might have more hp, but I'm after reliability as I travel to the most remote parts of Australia, so simplicity was a must.
Therefore I chose to use the IDI.
The only modern systems on the truck are the Optishift transmission controller & the digital cooling system, as for modern fundamentals.

Hi again I've sorted out the E4OD, I used the aftermarket controller and worked a charm.
Now for what made me almost cry, just finished getting the exhaust done, and went to the transmission builder for check-up, I get all thumbs up and nothing but compliments on her performance.
Then I get home and a few hours later my neighbor asks me can we go around the block, so I start it up and about half a liter of coolant came out my exhaust???
I'm hope it's just headgaskets?
