What oil should i run in my 5spd. Its 4-4 also.

I used Pennzoil syncromesh when I change my fluid a while back. Seems go shift a little better. No complaint here

if you have a Mazda M5OD and it has miles on it I'd drain it. I, as well as others, run a 30w Synthetic motor oil in the trans with Lucas Oil stabilizer.... just a tad heavier than Dexron Trans fluid but not as heavy as 80w90 gear oil...

it will shift very smooth and get rid of the gritty shift feeling. That was the advice of a few trans rebuilders....

Ok so motor oil. I kmow some people do that for semi tranmissions to. It does shift a little hard and has 165k

mine shifted gritty and hard with dexron... with oil it is easy and very smooth

Should i change my tcase oil too ifso with what. How much does the trans and tcase take

Whats the capacity for the trany. I got 2 qts at autozone i dont think its enough but thats all they had. I got the penzoil syncromesh
