Default 4x4 question

What do you need to switch a 1993 f150 2wd to a 4x4 it's got a 300 i6 with a 5 speed tranny

Its just a question that gets asked allot and its repetitive. Searching will give you allot more info. Basically you will need a donor 4x4 truck with the same gears as you have and another M5OD with a transfer case, or get a transfer case and have a tranny shop change out the tail shafts of your original one and bolt on the new case.

Everyone just wants to know what they need to buy. It gets answered every third day. Do a search, then ask to clarify what you don't understand. It's not about me being a dick, it's about taking initiative and doing a little leg work

The only thing I don't like about it, is that I can't think of a good way of wording what I'm looking for and the search doesn't allow numbers. Can't search "300" or "4.9L"
