hmm. thats good to know. for some reason i thought they had a different wheelbase. in that case it should not be a problem then.

Hey, Im new on here, so PLEASE be patient with me. However, Im a Ford man. Im also behind, so Ill try to catch up and learn. For the most part I'd rather learn. I was very interested in the topic about the 86 stepside bed fitting on an 93 shortbed frame. Never checked, but I would think it would. Honestly, I was trying to trade my stepside for a fleetside when I first bought my truck, but I changed my mind. I found that Mar K has better prices than lmc on bed parts if someone's interested and did't know. Mr. W Ligon, stated he's seen a few 86 stepside beds for 2K but are well worn, so what's mine worth if the sides, (fenders - perfect) and tailgate are in almost perfect?? Thanks for being patient with me.
