tl;dr :check engine light goes on and off, engine will sputter, dunno why


So, tomorrow evening after work I will be parking my truck while I pull the trans for a rebuild(only $550 Woot!). while it is down I want to take care of a few things, so I am coming to ya'll for advice.
the codes I pulled are low voltage at TPS, checked it, bad, replacing it. malfunction at idle air control valve, followed test procedure, bad, replacing it. EGR valve not closing, pulled it, checked it, cleaned a heap of carbon build up out but probably replace it anyway.
Here's the question, the check engine light will go on and off while driving, not blinking just of a bit on a bit. For example, this morning it was on while I was warming the truck up and when I left the house, the engine missed a beat, like it died and restarted in less than a second and the light went out, two or three miles later another missed beat and the light is back on.
would the issues I noted cause this? or is it something more sinister, like a malfunctioning fuel pump? the codes have been there a while but it only started to miss about two weeks ago
