For those of use who have an ignition key (e.g. XLTs), has anyone found a way to disable (via Forscan) the chime or dinging that occurs with the key in the ignition and the door open? Not the door ajar chime.

I am looking for a field that controls the unlocking that happens after leaving FOB in car, opening door, locking via inside button and closing door. Livnitup pointed me to the Mislock field to get rid of the horn, but I want to stop the unlock also.

I am planning on investigating these, assuming it would also be tied to FOB code # like the horn field... anyone have any knowledge on what these do:

Lock feedback (726-56-01)
PASE 1-5 (726-19-02)
Park lock control 1-5 (726-19-01)

From the owner's manual:
Smart Unlock (If Equipped)
You can still lock your vehicle with the key
in the ignition by:
• Using the manual lock on the inside of
the door.
• Locking the driver door with a key.
• Using the keyless entry keypad.
• Using the lock button on the remote
control.

Smart Unlocks for Intelligent
Access Keys (If Equipped)

In order to override the smart unlock feature and intentionally lock the intelligent access key inside your vehicle, you can lock your vehicle after all doors are closed by using the keyless entry keypad, pressing the lock button on another intelligent access key or touching the locking area on the handle with another intelligent access key in your hand.

If I find anything regarding Smart Unlock disable in BCM, I'll post it but use this for now.

Give these a shot...

720-01-02 xxxx xXxx - Door Chime
Subtract 1 .... if it is an 1 make it a 0.

720-02-01 xxXx xxxx xxxx - Key In Ignition Warning Chime
Subtract 8 from the value in that box... If it is an A make it a 2 etc....

I disabled the door ajar and when I have the key in the ignition it does not chime.

Also, I recommend disabling double honk because 1) it's annoying and 2) it alerts everyone who can hear it that there's a running unlocked new Ford waiting for them.

I don't take credit for finding any info, I don't put ads or collect money from my YouTube videos, I just want owners to know about it because I'm tired of signing in to Facebook and seeing help postings for stolen trucks. So if you think it will help anyone you know feel free to share the message.

Anyone figure out if the interceptor f150 has the button to have it secure idle like the slide further back showed on a different interceptor model

Ok so you cut or otherwise remove the wire from pin #1 and then run a jumper wire from pin#2 to pin #1...is that correct?

I would like that too. The door ajar is nicely disabled, but the key in chime gets annoying after a while. My wife and friends think it's a basic white girl going "OMG OMG OMG" over and over and over....
