No you will get a warning long before the battery goes completely dead and even if it did you can put it in the emergency start holder and still start the truck.

Yes that would still work as that is a mechanical bypass and not controlled by software.

gotcha, wasn't sure if there would be a steering lock activated or not (would be dangerous)

Thanks I was just trying to think of any downside to this

Do you have a way to test this value to see if in fact it's giving a "basic signal"? You explained everything well but I still don't which option to change in FORScan there will achieve the results you're after and I have no way to test. Please let us know what you find.
5 is the variable line level signal, as you wrote.

I have been using it in my car for almost a year now.

But for 2016 + there is an additional mystery circuit plugged in to Pin 1. I don't have access to the wiring diagrams for my truck (yet), and didn't want to trigger my blast ejection seats by accident.
This is not correct for the 2015. You have to disconnect the wire to prevent feedback or you blow your fuse for the lights. I thought I could do it with out cutting the wire but when I tried it just blew the fuse which was a good thing as it protected the module and everything upstream.

I think that was one of the best mods I ever posted on the Fusion forum lol... glad it works on the F150s. I found it buried in the BCM in that advanced program/hardware combo that me and Livinitup have that I told him about.

I think the Mustang guys are using it too.

It's so dumb that Ford doesn't enable this by default. Just running in a convenience store quick and locking the doors isn't enough.

TMC allows silent delivery of dynamic information suitable for reproduction or display in the user's language without interrupting audio broadcast services. Both public and commercial services are operational in many countries. When data is integrated directly into a navigation system, traffic information can be used in the system's route calculation.
I have Sync2 and navigation enabled while driving. As you can see by the pictures below, I still have Sirius travel link even though I enabled navigation while in motion. Not sure how or why. Decided I would try the TMC mod to see what that did. I set a destination with both the 1 and the 0 in that address (at different times of course) and both the Sirius travel link and the TMC worked while in motion. I know the Sirius travel link only has a 5 year subscription so the TMC is a nice option to have when that runs out.
