tmcolegr,
I followed this document for parts (2015 & 2016 F150 SCrew Power Fold and Extend Trailer Tow Mirror Retrofit.pdf) but it doesn't say anything about a synchronizing procedure. Do you mind sharing what that procedure is?

Thanks,
Jason

Not try to be harsh but did you read the entire document? The synchronization procedure is on the last 2 pages. Is there anything else in the document you overlooked?

tmcolegr,
I must have a different document. Mine is 8 pages and it just talks about programming for auto fold. Can you send me a link to where I can find this document you have about the synchronization procedure.
Thank you,
Jason

Yeah that's a very old document. See post 1206 or 1210 of this thread for the most current version

So I just received another module from autonation and this one is the correct one! So your pdf is correct for FK7Z-14B291-C on passenger side. For some reason a different module made it's way in the wrong box.

All is working correctly now.

One question, is there any way to get rid of a dtc I'm having on the ddm, lost communication with seat module? I'm assuming it's for memory seat, since I have an xlt I don't have it. Thanks everyone for your help!

You can clear it out, but it may or may not show the next time you connect. You never truly get rid of it though.

You can clear it but it will return - guaranteed since XLs and XLTs don't have memory seats.

Gotcha, figured it wouldn't be too important of a ttc.
Thank you!

Alright guys I spent 60 minutes playing with my new towing mirrors and they will not stop at the open position. They will stop closed and forward. I tried combinations of one mirror and the old window switch. Same thing so is it possible that this is programmed somewhere? These are both used mirrors but what makes them stop at the open position?
Thanks
jason

Have you programmed them to auto-fold or only fold when you press the button?
