New modules? New harnesses?

Thanks guys, and don’t try too hard for me, still deciding if I should put this on the wish list or not.
You stated you already have 22 pin mirror connectors? If so, you must currently have spot/puddle lamps or BLIS?

I have spots, puddle, auto darken, heated, turn signal, power adjust (is manual adjust a thing?)... I think that’s it.

There is an option to modify the existing XLT door harnesses if you already have 22 pin mirror connectors.

I believe post # 1031 has the instructions.

You will need to replace the door modules to BLIS door modules which support power fold.

Are BLIS door modules without power fold and BLIS door modules with power fold different?

Looks like I have all the parts on there way. I believe I have the physical procedure of changing the parts down. I have a few programing questions if any one could offer some information. When programing the new door modules, am I first recording the information thats on the old ones or am I activating features on the new one which already contain the new features?

I have ordered the OBD plug and a cheap tablet, I have no window products. If any of you guys know some good programming resources that would great.

Thank you.

This thread by Livinitup has a very good tutorial on the first post for learning FORScan.

I turned to this when I my dealer (programs in IDS) was unable to reprogram my factory BLIS modules. In addition to activating power fold, I reprogrammed my DRL's, increased count on lane change blinker, and put climate / seats on my touch screen. It really was a snap.

The difference between the door modules (other than RH vs LH) is the absence of BLIS or having BLIS on the vehicle. You also MUST have the correct door modules for your vehicle's build date.

Only the BLIS door modules contain the drivers for power fold. That's why even if you don't have BLIS, you still need to install BLIS door modules to be able to program the new values to enable power fold. Non BLIS door modules can't be programmed to enable power fold.

Great! Since I have BLIS, my modules are good to go! Thank you.
