Coola1,
I know this thread is moving on to 18 and 19's, but I still am trying to figure out how to tap into the yellow blue wire at the BJB. Did you have the box lifted up, seems really crowed and I can't verify the wire outside of the fuse location? I'd like to run the added wire to C134 in or along the main engine harness coming from the connector location if possible but can't locate much on how those come out. Haven't had a chance to dig into it but hope to this weekend. Checking to see if you had some way of getting that box up to work on it.

I took down the inner fender cover and uncovered the wire bundle right out of the BJB and tap the yellow blue wire there that feeds from the correct fuse. The bundle is tight no doubt about it but was able to fish out the correct wire to tap. If that’s to much trouble others have taped the gray power lead to the front shutter not to far from the CCM module.

Okay, so you came at it from the inner front fender. I'll look at that approach, if it makes it easier to get to. I do want to keep the ACC on the fuse it was intended for, I figure they balanced the load on these circuits more or less so not sure all what's running on that other gray wire line just in case it's pushing close to it's limit when everything is active. Thanks for the added details!

Good news: I have a test beta of FORScan that is supposed to be able to calibrate both CCM & IPMA for the 2018+ ACC w/stop & go so if anyone here already has the parts and wants to be a tester then message me.

I just got it yesterday myself, hoping the addition of the IPMA calibration abilities will get rid of the codes that pop up.

Ok, so does anyone have a config file they actually got from a 2018 Lariat that came with ACC/collision avoidance or is there anyone here that has one that came with ACC/collision avoidance from the factory that would share their configurations from ForScan? Preferably one with a 3.5 Eco as I'd like to see what's different for the PCM as well. Yes I know I can and have gotten as-builts but there are values I'm seeing, like for the IPMA for example, that aren't listed in the as-builts.

I briefly looked at what it does and don't think it's going to help the IPMA but the CCM calibration portion absolutely works, had to drive about 30 minutes and it was done. There's still something else with the IPMA I can't put my finger on. I know some have mentioned a different IPMA part number but I can't find it, so if you have any input on that it'd be appreciated. I'd like to get my hands on a calibration someone actually read from a 2018 Lariat that came with ACC/collision avoidance from the factory, the as-builts don't have all the calibrations for some modules, IPMA is one of them. There is also nowhere in ForScan to modify TCM values, I get a code for the TCM when changing some fields.

What codes are you getting from the TCM? IIRC the TCM does not have any involvement in the ACC system.

@Livnitup I am game to start trying this on my 2015. I already added the regular ACC. I know I would have to replace my CCM and add the IPMA which I need to make a bracket for, I seem to remember something about having to upgrade the cluster, or maybe just the cluster firmware to have the correct options. I already have the 8" Display. I won a $200 credit from tasca parts for a review I wrote so I literally have money burning a hole in my pocket for this, lol

Wink

I've sent a message, but have an additional question; Is the C-CM for the non collision avoidance equipped ACC the same as the one with collision avoidance?

And I've uploaded some pics from the ACC bumper unit and camera behind the mirror for my 2018 802A with tech.

I believe the ACC unit is the same one that other 2018 ACC equipped trucks have but don't know if there's a difference between this one and the one that works with collision avoidance IPMA behind the mirror.

Comments welcome. That crack in my windshield is getting longer so I'd like to get the parts all sorted before I head over to Safelite.

The CCM for non-CADS and CADS are different and you have the CCM pictured for the non-CADS ACC. Your Lane Keeping camera/IPMA in your picture appears to be the correct one for ACC without CADS.

Edit: 2018+ F150s with ACC shipped with the CADS unit but the 2018 Raptor 802A shipped with the non-CADS ACC
