So I'd need a new C-CM and the IPMA at the very least. Is the harness the same from the pic or is there a way to look up the part number difference if not?

If you want the ACC with CADS then you'll need to replace the CCM & IPMA. You're looking at some extensive wiring if you want ACC w/CADS because it's wired completely different; the CADS CCM is wired directly to the CADS IPMA/camera where that wasn't the case on the non-CADS ACC. The CADS CCM also uses a different connector than the non-CADS CCM. Keep in mind we're still working on getting the CADS working as as of today we're close (CCM & IPMA successfully calibrated w/FORScan) but still a few things to iron out so you may want to wait before making the decision to try for the CADS ACC.

Your 802A was only meant for non-CADS so even if the guys with the non-Raptor 2018s get it working, there's a ton more wiring that you would have to do because your harnesses aren't setup for CADS ACC so you'd be a pioneer on that.

I've given up on adding ACC w/CADS on my own 2016 as I'll probably trade my truck in next year for a new Platinum so I'm just lending assistance to those trying on their 2018s.

FYI for anyone who hasn't seen this. This is for the 2018's with ACC/CADS.

Last week I dropped by my dealership to arrange a service appt and saw a 2019 Raptor on the lot. I stopped to have a look and noticed on the window sticker that adaptive cruise was an option with "stopgo-precollis".

Intrigued, I went into the showroom and questioned a sales guy who looked it up in the 2019 ordering guide and sure enough starting in 2019 model year the Raptor got ACC with "AEB" or emergency braking.

But strangely the windshield still has the same "one camera lens" mask that the 2017-2018 Raptors have and it doesn't have the "extra" mask for what I assumed to be the IPMA for pedestrian detection.

The sales guy then suggested we talk to a senior tech who is now a service advisor and he confirmed that the 2019 Raptor did in fact have the so called "stop-and-go" ACC with pedestrian detection.

But again, from what I can see the camera and mirror look identical to the one on my truck, so they must have re-wickered the electronics to reside somewhere else, like maybe in the C-CM module itself.

My appointment is this Friday so I'll grab the vin from one of the two '19 Raptors they have and head to the parts department for a little research while I'm waiting on my service.

New windshield, why is that needed? Is that due to the raptor? I can't imagine you need a new windshield just for the upgraded camera, i would have though they used a standard one.

You need a new windshield because there's a camera behind the rearviewmirror, which looks out through a section of the windshield that's masked off in trucks without the camera. The mirror mount may be different too.

Hoping I can get some assistance from some of you Forscan experts here. Recently picked up a 2018 Platinum with ACC (which is awesome). My father borrows my truck from time to time and he has a medical exemption that precludes him from wearing a seat belt. Problem is that without the driver side seat belt buckled it disables ACC from working. Its my understanding that those of you who have added ACC after the fact dont have this restriction so Im trying to find what value in Forscan I need to change so that when he borrows my truck he can use cruise (I cant expect him to go into the menu every time and switch it to normal CC, nor would I want him fumbling around with this while he is driving).

Would it be possible for one of you who have this working to post your full control module values you used to enable ACC so I can do a stare and compare with what I have? I tried the "disable seat belt reminder" and that didnt seem to have an effect.

Livinitup, if you have any input it would be GREATLY appreciated.

There are little buckles you can get that clip in to kill the seatbelt chime as well. A simple mechanical solution. If you look at the spreadsheet, there is coding for the seatbelt minder, probably just need to change that.

While the buckle is a valid solution, I use the seat belt daily and knowing my father he wont bother to find the clip and use it but good idea none the less. I told him to just click in the seatbelt in before he gets in but that was met with a blank stare lol. I also tried the seatbelt minder change in forscan and it didnt have an effect.

He's old and stuck in his ways and I'd feel much safer if I could just get ACC working for him in a way that doesnt require him to do anything .... cause I know he wont. Hell the auto start/stop concept completely befuddles him.
