i was wondering what color the wires are for the reverse lights on a 95 ford f150 with a 4.9 and 5speed? i was planning on adding some extra backup lights to my dads truck and want to use the same color as stock so that it should not confuse anyone in the future. i am planning to put all the reverse lights on a relay since it makes a noticeable difference.

 

Purple and Orange and Black and Pink. Should be right on the side of the transmission under the truck near the top.

well my dad stopped in to do an oil change and since it was such a nice day i decided install the extra reverse light and it came out fairly good. i will have to wait to find out if it works good or not. we bolted it to one of the holes already in the frame so it sits high but it looks like it should work good. the drivers side reverse light was also noticeably brighter being hooked to the relay.
