Default power window not working

Ok so here's my problem, about the time of October my driver side window decided to not go down. When i went to take apart the door panel i inspected everything and the was no issues at all. i spent a great deal of time trying to figure out what was wrong but couldn't get it so i gave up. Then a few days later my window just worked out of no where and its been good ever since. Then just today i experienced the same exact thing but in this case it wont roll back up. I'd appreciate some help on this issue and if anyone has had this same problem can you let me know what you did.
Thanks

Did you take the door apart again? Do you hear the motor at all?

Well the last time this happened when I would move the switch my battery gauge would also move but this time there is no movement in the needle. I'm not hearing any motor noise and I haven't taken it apart yet

Last time I tried to remove the motor by taking out the 3 bolts that hold it in it wouldn't come out so is there something I'm missing

3 bolts pull it out. Might want to check that power is getting where it's supposed to first

Did you ever figure out what the issue was?
I've always been told that if the battery gauge is moving, that's a bad ground. Is that correct?

Never got around to it but the battery guage does move if I'm rolling one down and it does it for both sides and then my window does get stuck the gauge stops moving

One of my windows would get stuck when I would roll it down. My fix was to take off the door card and hit the area where the motor was with a hammer or hand or something a few times then it would start working. I saw this on a youtube video lol

When it does get stuck I beat the hell out of the bottom of the door with a rubber mallet and it comes back up lol
