Default fuel pump won't stop running

This is happening on a friends truck. The fuel pump won't stop running even with the truck turned off and keys out of the ignition. We have to disconnect the battery for it to stop or it will kill the battery. We've pulled some fuses and it keep running. The truck has two tanks, even with the fuse pulled for the switch that changes the tanks, when we hit that button it still trys to switch tanks. We disconnected the switch and the pump was still running. any ideas would be a great help...
thx T

A year sure would be helpful, if you're feeling froggy an engine size would help too.

Fuel pump relay is stuck. You should have three relays side by side on a fender one is brown, one is black, and the other is green, that would be the fuel pump relay.
