Default Retrofit folding mirrors?

Anyone ever retrofit folding mirrors on a circa 1995 F150. I have the garage space on my house garage but it won't fit because of the mirrors. It fits through the 8' doors on my detached garage but stays warmer overnight on the house garage. Be nice to use house garage during the winter when I drive the truck more frequently.

Thanks

Nah, not interested in jigsawing it. Was really hoping someone tried a retrofit. Even manual folding ones would be better than nothing.

Hmm, maybe mine are just stuck from never being folded. Didn't want to break one off. Lol

I'm assuming you have the nemos and they do fold.

Power would be nice though and newer mirrors are generally larger. Doesn't sound like anyone here has attempted it

The stock ones do fold. But if it has never been folded, it will be stuck there.

There are people who have done conversions on power and folding mirrors and towing mirrors. Most of what I found were 1/2 ton fords with Dodge 1 ton mirrors. The ones who went for the power mirrors could only get a couple of the actual mirror movements to work. The actual folding part of the mirror was computer controlled and was a no go. Same with the F250 mirrors. Either was, the conversions looked very odd and took up the vent windows on the 8th and 9th gens. I for one LOVE my vent windows! There is a screw under the mirror bracket on the 9th gen folding mirrors. Remove the crew, get a can of WD40 with the straw and soak the inside of the mirror and it should work lose. My replacement mirror from the salvage yard was froze up and it came lose after about 5 minutes of soaking.

I mentioned this to my 16yo son this AM who said with a sheepish grin - yeah, I know they fold in. How, I asked? "I clipped a fence post in the backyard last summer." Kids...
