Default Stumped???

I have a 1993 ford f-150 4x4 with the 351W.
It is currently yard art as I'm unable to get her running right..
I would appreciate someone who knows these trucks to give me some advice.

Here is what's wrong.

1. truck Won't start from lack of fuel after sitting overnight.
2. Truck will not pull or accelerate.
3. Truck RPMs can be brought up slowly, but back fires through intake and bogs down when rapidly given throttle.

Here is what I have tried
1.Squirt gas in throttle to get motor working (Success)
2.Replaced and gapped all spark plugs, checked timing 4 or 5 different times set to 10 BDC, with spot removed. (did not help)
3 Replaced Fuel Filter
4. Cut exhaust pipe to check for obstructed cat or muffler. (did not help)
5. Switched back and fourth between front and rear gas tanks and pumps (did not help)
6.Checked vacuum hoses and lines. (did not help)
7.Replaced battery (did not help)

I need to get her running. So if anyone has a idea about how I should proceed I would greatly appreciate it..Thanks' in advance Eric

Does it stay running when you do get it started? Have you tested or replaced your fuel pressure regulator? Have tested fuel pressure in general?

Pulled codes?

no I haven't checked the fuel pressure. I figured by switching from one tank to the other at least one of the pumps would be good- I will go to the parts store and get a fuel pressure tester' but I can't drive my truck there to get the codes checked''

The fuel pumps could work but have a bad fuel pressure regulator. The regulator maintains pressure in the system. You can check codes yourself. There is a sticky on this forum that tells you how. Or youtube/Google it.

I had a problem similar to that, it was the fuel pump relay switch.

Ditto. The relay plug outlet might need a little scrape on the blades too.

Do you hear the fuel pump from either tank run when you turn the key from off to on?

Parts store can't check your codes. Do it yourself with a paperclip. Sounds like low fuel pressure to me. Regulator, low voltage to pumps or bad pumps. Unlikely both pumps would go at the same time.
