Hey yall,

Well I finally got off my lazy rear and joined up with the forums here. Y'all have some great info and has helped me in a number of occasions. Im 19 from Colorado and I have a 1995 F150 XLT 4x4. Its got the 351 in it with an E40D. So I have a question, I have been giving thought to some 32x12.5s once my current stock size tires wear out and I was wondering if the bigger tire size would affect the odometer. I know it will affect the speedometer, which I am not too concerned about, I just don't want my odo to get off. I have heard that the bigger tires will affect it and I have heard that they wont, so I am not sure which way to believe lol

 

Welcome to the forums! Yes, if the speedo is off the odo will be off. Also, 32's are gonna rub.

 

32s didn't rub on my 2wd.

 

Is there a way to calibrate the odometer? I know its just a plug and play deal with OBDII, but I'm stuck with OBDI

 

Yes. It's actually pretty easy for '92-'96, but I don't remember how because I have an '87.

 

I was doin some googlin on it here at work , and I came across this. Does this look to be the correct procedure? I assume it is the same setup on the equivalent year F150s
