Question Need some help please...

Trying to repair my son's 1989 F150 4x4. 5.0 motor with T18 and Borg Warner transfer case. Confirmed with the VIN that it left the factory with a 5.0. This truck has a hydraulic clutch with an external slave cylinder.

This started as a simple clutch job, but everything that could go wrong has gone wrong. And in trying to show him how to do this repair, it has actually cost me more $$ than if I had done the whole job myself.

I need to replace the plastic clutch line from the clutch master cylinder to the slave cylinder now, as the fitting got damaged today before I even got all tools out on what was supposed to be the last day of repairs, Take 4.

But in trying to look up a replacement line, all I am finding are non-T18 replacements. I have checked the usual auto parts places and RockAuto, is this a custom line or an OEM part?

The fittings take a roll-pin retainer, it appears.

Default Not looking good.....

If there is no off-the-shelf solution, I guess a fully custom line is all I can hope to do?

If you can't find a clutch line you may have to make a custom one as long as it can fit the master cylinder and the fitting on the slave cylinder, but you would have to find a replacement fitting in order to do that.

Also try ebay, won't believe the stuff I've found for parts for all of my old relic projects.

I need to get some pictures, from what I can tell, I have the metal fittings like normally found at the clutch master cylinder at both ends.
