My buddy has a f150 with the duel tanks and the back tank keeps emptying into the front one has anyone else had this issue?

What year? A lot of people have this issue, most times its a bad check valve between the tanks

The front fuel pump has a bad check valve and its a common problem. Only fixes are to replace the pump or buy the inline check valve kit from Ford.

He said it might be a check valve and the fuel pump in the front is bad so he has to siphon fuel back into the Rear tank

Disconnect the lines at the front and cap them off in the mean time. Get a fuel line repair kit that fits in the connectors to the pump, flare the other end and put on a cap.

If it is a 93 take it to the dealership. This is a safety recall and Ford HAS to fix it for free. If it is a 94 or later then they will tell you to go screw yourself . Believe me This happened to my 94 and they wouldn't do a damn thing

They all were recalled. They don't fix any of them anymore.
