They come on when i start my truck. and dont go off till i open my door. i no longer need the remote, unless i wanna change color or brightness. the only way i can lose the remote's is if i lose my truck. lol

So there on in the Daytime? Thats seems silly...

Basically, the stay on with the ignition untill you turn them off... I may have to buy these, to replace my blue only ambient lighting...

That's because most people who do this go for the most obnoxiously bright strips they can find. Opposite of what I did.
I wired mine so they're on for night driving. I got the strips with only 5 LEDs on each and even that was too bright, so i used pieces of electrical tape and blocked a few of them. I only have 2 or 3 shining on each side and now its subtle. No eye strain on long night trips and I couldn't imagine not having them.
This pic does it no justice, its perfect in person. One of the best mods I've ever done.

Actually they stay on till i open the door-.

also here is a nice spot for the remote which i work without even moving it. also i ordered some of those dot lights that you have in blue for the cupholders.

Right on, I would have tried the little dot in the RGB version. So you could tap into your opt7s and have it the same color as the rest of the Ambient Lighting!

Post a few pics with the kit on, in different colors... If you dont mind, at Nite time...
