I've always wondered about UV lights. I think it'd be cool to get the UV glow on white clothing cuz my kids would love it. But I don't know the effect it would give inside as far as lighting. Would there be any lighting or just the glow on white clothing???

A switch is always good. I did have some lights wired always on in my 18 wheeler for bout 3-4 months. Doesn't drain enough to affect battery but ya, a switch is always better.

Id have to look, but it was a unused slot in the p.s. kick panel fuse box. Its only hot when ignition is in Run position. I used a add a fuse, and ran power from that! I also ran a wire from the dimmer toggle on the dash lights, so my switches light dims with the dash lights at nite! It was a little more wiring, but well worth it! Dont forget a In Line Fuse, just incase a wire ever shorts out!

You could use your rear console 12v acc. Or cigerette lighter socket for power, but remember to use a switch as both are always hot! These leds, draw very little power.

Nice, that kit looks very good. I really like the little dot smd leds, I have one on my front cupholders, and 2nd oj the lower rear plrtion of the console for rear footwell lighting.

I drilled a small hole in both spots just round enough to allow the full smd to shine through. Then secured the smd led with hot glue, and the wires with standard scotch tape!

I like the output, but I do wish I had opted for a RGB kit like the one you selected, for more color choices!

Let me know how you like it.... I just wish it had a physical switch vs. a remote...
