Default Tailgate light bar

Abe a tailgate light bar on the truck I just bought. Half if the light doesn't work for the tail light. Not sure why both sides work for brake lights and half does work for the tail lights but just one half doesn't work except for the break light. Any suggestions

Most likely a bad solder joint inside of the light bar. If you want to keep the look you'll probably need to replace the bar.

Our trucks have right and left side fuses for brake lights, check your fuses

Custom Dynamics makes the best, brightest tail light bar on the market. Lifetime warranty too!

I have had this light bar on my truck for about 5 months and it is by far and away the brightest bar I have seen on any truck. No issues at all and fairly easy to install. It takes a little work to get it into that small area between the bumper and tailgate, but was worth it. I have seen many taillight bars where one or more of the leds is not working, but no issues with that.

The pic shows an indirect shot of how bright the bar is reflecting off of the bumper cover. The second pic is just the taillight assembly. I have the incandescent bulbs in the center until I get the V3 leds in.

Don't buy a Recon Extreme scanning tail gate bar. Terrible quality and may last you a year if you're lucky. Beyond that I hear Putco makes a good one.

I like the idea of a lifetime warranty with those custom dynamics bars...I've seen so many different makes and models installed with varying brightness between the LEDs and burnt out ones as well.

Can't go wrong with the Custom Dynamics lightbar.
