Default Suggestion for lights?

2017 Lariat with Halogen lights. I’m confused about which sea light model is ideal for both the low and high beams. Can someone recommend an exact model which works well and provide a link?

Also, looking to go LED for the cargo and license plate lights. Any good recommendation here as well?

thank you

Stick with the same model all around. ZERO reason not to. Not sure why you'd even mix models. Order these up and be done. Love mine. Simple plug and play, zero issues with cut off, and just flat out work.

Amazon Amazon

I just installed Sealight S2s for fog, low and high. I am pleased with them. I bought extended dust caps from Amazon just for the extra room, you can make stock covers work

My 2 cents (I just installed the same). Factory dust covers will fit, I originally put mine back on. The wiring etc will coil inside just fine. However, I did that and then got to thinking and decided that, knowing these get hot, I wanted a bit more air space for cooling and also to keep the wires away from anything hot. I ordered some extended covers from Amazon, pulled the wires out a bit and put the extended covers on

Since you’ve installed these… what are the horizontal pieces in front of the halogen bulb? Do they stay in place when switching to Sealights LEDs or do the come out?

those stay in place. Literally plug and play with the bulbs. No issues with stock dust covers either.
