ok, i took a picture of my HID bulb next to the bulb that came with the lights, theres less than a 3mm difference in length from the seals to the end of the bulb. unfortunately i cant find the pic, (we have 3 digital cameras).

the lights look great, you just have to seal them with some silicone. the HID lighting works fine, but im having some trouble with electrical part though, the resistance is lower, so the amps in the wiring is higher, so im having some minor problems with lights flickering, but everything pretty much works

ya i tried to embed them, it didnt work, ill just post the links of them

closeup of parking lights on
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c2...1/IMG_3220.jpg
closeup of headlights on (my camera auto filters lights, so everything besides the projector itself looks darkish)
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c2...1/IMG_3218.jpg

these 2 are pics of my HID ballasts

the first is mounted below the intake thing or watever its called
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c2...1/IMG_3223.jpg
the second is on my windshield wiper fluid container
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c2...1/IMG_3224.jpg

i used polymer to mount the ballasts, so i didnt have to drill anything in place, but i might do that later to make it more permanent.

if anyone wants me to take pics of anything theyre curious about e.g. the cutoff at night etc, just ask me and ill try to take them asap

Here's my 2 cents. I recently purchased my F150, and previously had a Mazda 6. I added some HID's that I purchased off of ebay. They were cheap, and I thought what the hell. The light out put was great. But the bulbs were crap. They blew out within 6 months. I then spent a little more money on some Apexcone HID's. Great brand, and they sell them in a 35w and 55w version. Now here is were it ties into this for ya'll. The 55 watt version is "For off-road use only". The 35w versions can be used on the road. I purchased the 55w, and just adjusted the projectors. But thats my 2 cents for ya

Bloodmoney I really like your setup you've got. How much have you invested in the lights and headlight assembles?
