Default Light bar

I have a 17 xlt and found a stainless bull bar on Face Book for $65. Im thinking about adding a light bar to it. My question is what do you know about those remote operated switches. I hate to mount a switch inside my new truck or even cut any kinda hole in the firewall.

And is there any that have a spot in the center and amber fog lights on the outsides. That can be operated independently.

Thanks for any help or advice.

So you want what I just put on my truck right... amber on the outside, white on the inside:

So the way this works is I have 2 switches. One switch turns the ambers on, the other the whites.

But I have physical switches, nothing "remote"

There is a module made that gives you bluetooth control but it does require their switch panel to be SOMEWHERE (you COULD mount it in the hood).

So is that what you meant by remote operated switch or you actually want a switch inside the cab to turn them on and off (which is what I recommend).

You can mount a switch in a few places in the cab, I mounted 3 on my dash and then I installed the superduty uplifter panel.

Ive never seen a light bar like that but yes. The remote im speaking about is like a key fob or garage door opener. The light bar wires up to a box under the hood. And the wireless remote turns the light on.

Im just kicking the idea around. Looking for ideas

Yeah there are bluetooth controllers out there to do this via your phone. I've never used one but I believe there are wireless relay modules you can use as well, they are all over. However I normally just mount a hard wired switch. So you'd want to source the light bar and wireless remote separate.

You can send them a PM if they're soliciting for a link.

It's meant to keep people from making shill accounts "asking for advice" just so the vendor can link their products in a thread. Among other reasons
