Default HID problems

hey guys. i just recently got an HID kit for my 03 and i cant get my high/lows to work. its like im just running with the running lights on and have no high beam or low beam...just one constant beam. if anyone could help me and my brother in law out it would be greatly appreaciated!!!

i got the same problem. u have to order the HID bulbs that have both the low and high beams

You will get more responses if you post the exact specs of the kit you purchased (manufacturer, model, options, website, etc.).

Simply posting "I bought some stuff off eBay and it doesn't work" usually won't get many responses.

the kit i bought was just called HID lighting. it had the right bulbs and everything. it just wont change beams. anything that could be wiring issues?

got a link to these 'right bulbs'? Unless they were specifically listed as a bi-xenon kit, then they don't have high beams...most standard low cost kits do not have high beams.

As shotgun said, a link to the actual product or listing on ebay or wherever/whatever you got would be great.

i bought it off a guy in Edmonton Ab Canada its close to where i live out in the country. he doesnt have a website. but they are hi/low bulbs and the bulbs go from hi to low when i hit my lock button and my lights flash. its strange...

do you have the lights on AUTO? put the lights ON Manual. mine HI's will only work with the lights fully ON and NOT on auto turn the **** right all the way

prob treied everything, but something that stupid fixed mine.. good luck, I love my HID'd but they are a pain in the ***! I had one of my ballasts KO and had to hook directly up to the battery!!!

Did the kit come with instructions? Some cheap kits have the wires crossed.

pretty much exactly what it was. i figured it out last night. where the harness's plug together into the headlight harness the wires were all f*&ked up. now she works like a charm
