Default Awesome Reverse Lights

Just picked up the high powered reverse lights from Jon_To here on the forum. They are sweet. Taking a pic doesn't really do it justice. It's just like having two led flashlights shining behind the truck when you back up. Very bright and way better than the stock bulbs.

Great upgrade!

Thanks Jon.

Would still like to see pics. Are they drop in, plug-and-play? Is the light output pattern the same, or different (like the Cree ones that only illuminate directly behind you and not down or to the sides)? Price?

OK...working on pics. They are plug and play. You just pop out the old bulb and pop in the new bulb. I think these are Crees or if not something just like them. I'm not 100% positive if the beam pattern is the same. I think these are focused more straight back. More of a spot than a flood pattern. And they run $40 shipped. I wish I would have taken a pic of the old one in one side and the new one in the other. The old one is very yellow looking light compared to the new one.

Here is a close of pic of the bulb.

You can see how it illuminates my car and if you look to the right on the ground you can see the pattern.

Here is a pic of how bright they are. They look about that bright to the naked eye.

One last thing is that if you're behind my truck, you won't miss the reverse lights when they come on which is another benefit for backing situations.
