Default AVS lightshield wiring installation

I have a 2019 f150 and I am installing the AVS lightshield. I am on the last step and it says to connect the wiring to the marker light circuit. It doesn’t give any information and I am totally lost, does anyone have a diagram of where this is? I’m not an electrically inclined and from everything I’ve read on here the wiring changes every year.

I hooked it to fuse box with EPAuto 12V Car Add-a-circuit Fuse TAP Adapter Mini ATM APM Blade Fuse Holder I bought on amazon. The lights run anytime the truck is on. It was easier than trying to cut the headlight cables and less risky.

Dont connect this via a wire tap...
running light means parking light. What year truck do you have? in the orangish brown connector on each side, the parking light circuit, CLS05, is the wire in the middle. It is blue/grey. This is for a halogen headlamp, for the led headlamps the circuit is the same but 2015 -2017 is pin #3, and on the 2018+ it is pin #4. If you want a clean install without cutting into or wire tapping the factory harness, you could easily build a PnP solution.
Hope this helps

I just installed mine yesterday and the screw-in wire taps are already included, I don’t know why they would use a fuse tap.

Sorry Ronin, I no longer have that truck. I connected the wire tap to the driver side headlight plug assembly after ringing out the wiring harness to find out which wire was which. I didn't write down which wire I used, but I made sure it was the parking light wire. My lights came on with the light system whenever the parking lights came on.

Can you please send me a picture of where you hooked the fuse adapter? I tried removing my park light fuse but it’s not turning off my park light without fuse. Can you please explain little more on with which fuse you hooked up adapter.(fuse number if you can find from your manual)

do it right, not with a fuse tap. Use something like this and bingo there is your parking light tap without tapping any of the factory harness.....
