Just make sure they are aimed down properly. That's all I can say.
You're gonna hate the blue in the rain, and oncoming traffic hates the glare even more. I never understand why people want the ricer blue on their beautiful F150.
And that is some serious glare there ^^. I'm not bashing all HID users, hell I use them myself. Its the fact that you are using them improperly and putting others in danger.

The whole point of HIDs is to offer superior lighting in all road conditions. Why people buy 6000K+ HIDs is beyond me. I've been in vehicles with 6k, 8k, 10k, and 30k HIDs in rainy weather. They offered awful visibility compared to 4300K.
When advertising 6k, the cheap stuff generally will run higher, closer to a 6500k or so color. Bulbs color shift after break-in, so after about 50 hours of run time they will shift to a 7000k-7500k color which is quite blue (and this can be more extreme for the cheaper stuff out there, most PnP kits). So even if you think you bought 6000k, you are likely getting up to 7500k once you've used them a bit.
4300k is most effective, but keep in mind they must be in projectors. Glare is what kills your performance. In rain even 4300k will glare enough to hinder your vision and it REALLY hinders others' vision in rain since the glare lights up their wet windshield. it looks like a wall of light to them.

I want projectors bad for my truck, and had the money for them for a while, but there is not a single clear lens for my generation truck. That's the only thing that stopped me. Projectors through the old style refractor lens just doesn't seem right to me
You know you can make your own lenses out of lexan, right? Super easy and cheap.
Home Depot. check out these installs, its just like yours:
