I am pretty sure the 2020 F350 6.2 gets the 10 speed.

I tow 37ft and 8,400lbs dry, and a wet 1,250lbs tongue with my HDPP, and it does great on 10hrs hours a day towing trips, but no way with the 1/2 ton you are looking to get...you need more truck.
