Ok I am looking to purchase a 2020 6.5’ bed 4x2 with eb3.5 and max tow. With a tow rating of 13,200lbs.
It will be used to tow a Coachman freedom express liberty 323 loaded to about 8200-8400lbs ( we dont travel with full water tanks)
We were looking at super duties, but the towing is likely limited to 1-2 times a year. So I was looking at the F150 to save some cash on gas when not towing and like $10k cheaper.

The trailer has a wdh set up on it.

First order of business: Forget you ever read the 13,200 tow capacity. Unless you get the absolute base model, you won't ever be legal with that trailer.
You first need to find the truck you want them make sure it has the available payload to haul the trailer which will weight more than it is advertised.
If you are looking at a Lariat, the trailer is probably too heavy. If you are looking at a base model XLT, you're getting closer. I don't believe the Lariat is offered as you wrote anyway, maybe you get the idea that the lesser optioned truck you get the more likely you can tow the 8000+ lb trailer.
Others will be here to help. In the meantime look at the other threads to get a feeling for the questions you'll soon be asked.
I had the same dilemma and in Canada comparing same trims a superduty was 10k more when I was looking. I wouldn't pull that length of a camper with any half ton though. I had a max tow 6.5' box supercrew and my 30' ft travel trailer would push the truck around considerably with any decent cross wind.

NO WAY! That one is 3/4 ton minimum, possibly 1 ton.
Please don't focus on Max Towing Capacity, it's a rookie mistake.
the loaded real-world tongue weight will exceed every F150 hitch receivers' max rating.
and that long of a trailer has no business being pulled by a F150.
Your focus should be on PAYLOAD CAPACITY before Towing Capacity.
An equivalent 7 3L Super Duty F250 has a lower MSRP than a F150 3.5EB Max Tow. By the time you figure the 30% higher price for diesel in my part of the country a 14 mpg gasser gets no worse than a 18 mpg diesel in dollar per mile and diesel maintenance and purchase price are not cheap.
If it will meet your towing expectations the 6.2L is about $2,000 cheaper and gets about 1.0 mpg better.

For that I wouldn't even consider a Half-Ton.
To much tail for that dog.

Lariat Screw 157 4x2 3.5EB Max Tow is an available specification.
I do agree that's to much trailer for that truck.
In the real world that might only be a 1320 lb tongue weight trailer + a 100 lb WDH. Since that combo has a 7000 lb GVWR (4x2) it's possible he might have an 1800 lb Payload even in a Lariat so if it's just him and the wife he might manage to scale it but it would be close.
On the other hand that might end up heavier than you expect. I was looking at a Grand Design 7495 lb GVWR Trailer with a 515 lb claimed dry tongue. With just a full fresh tank and weekend loaded the tongue exceeded 1200 lb in the real world.
