Another testament why I won't buy aftermarket stuff like this.
I hope you get the turn signals working.

The predicament for adding OEM trailer tow mirrors is ridiculous. From my experience, F150s on the dealer lots rarely have the tow mirrors. It's stupid as hell that they don't include them in the max trow package at the very least. I found my truck at a dealer that was reasonably close to me and it was just about perfect, tow mirrors being the main thing it was missing. What's worse is that the mirrors are a fairly reasonably priced option to add from the factory, but the retail price to buy the (power adjustable) tow mirrors after the fact is over $2000 which is freaking criminal, and then you gotta figure out how to wire them in.

I posted in another thread the combinations available: https://www.f150forum.com/f118/speci...irrors-403229/

Unfortunately for you there isn't FL3Z-17682-AB+, FL3Z-17683-AB+, and the ACs (or higher) need the 22 pin connector for which RichAP gave you the adapter - technically, you could just pull the pins out of the 8 place connector and insert them into the 22 place connector but getting the connector and swapping the pins is a bit of PIA. Note: You need 2 of the adapter connectors - one drivers, on passengers.

There are lots of FL3Z-17682-AB, FL3Z-17683-AB out there (full manual ones; from Amazon, eBay, Tasca, etc) and they are the only ones reasonably priced.

MmmCoffee: I agree with you about Ford Part's price for tow mirrors being criminal. If they are a $300 upgrade at build, they should be $300 more in parts.

Purchased and installed set of power folding tow mirrors by TrailRidge to replace my XLT (302a pkg) mirrors. All my options plus marker lights were plug and play. I had to add wiring for power fold. Happy with them so far, glass is good quality.
See power folding tow mirror thread in 2015 and up section.
You can select option you have or want and they provide parts to add addition options.

A few years ago I purchased a pair of non-OEM tow mirrors online (can't remember from where TBH). Total was $427CAD (manual telescoping and folding, mind you). Installation was quick and easy with compatible connectors (even puddle lights!). Ford dealer quoted me over $1,000 for a similar OEM pair! To date, have had no issues with them.

I'm thinking the ebay adapters are the way to go in my situation. I'd really like the puddle lights to work but I don't know if that's worth messing around with. Currently the mirrors have been sitting on my workbench in my garage since I bought them however long ago, one mirror has the pins pulled out of the 22 pin connector and I haven't touched the other. I'll put the connector back together and get the adapters.

Thanks everyone for the help.

Dreamer. Go back to school and work on your BBA until you better understand cost accounting.

If they are a $300 upgrade at build, they should be not much more than double that amount from the dealer's parts counter. But Ford charges a lot more than $600 for a pair of tow mirrors from the dealer's parts counter. Maybe not criminal, but exasperating.

The manual glass/manual telescope/manual fold tow mirror pairs for XL trim are available in the F-150 Accessories Catalog for decent price. But for '15-'17 the fancier power tow mirrors for XLT and better trim levels are not yet in the accessories catalog. And for the '18s, no tow mirrors are yet available in the accessories catalog.

Find that part number on a discount Ford parts dealer and the price is $270 for the pair of manual tow mirrors for '15-'17 F-150: https://parts.autonationfordwhitebea...bC12Ni1nYXM%3D

I have been pulling a trailer for 2 years now and I haven't used any extended mirrors at all, I just keep a very good eye on where the other cars are so I can safely change lanes.
