Hey all, tried searching in case this topic came up but didn't see anything. I'm looking to get a new F150 2024 XLT SuperCab mainly to tow our 7000lb camper during camping season. We had a 3.5L V6 Ecoboost previously, but I'm interested in possibly getting the PowerBoost hybrid V6 this time around.
Only thing I'm concerned about is how much payload I'll lose for the battery. My previous truck had an 1800+ payload which is what I'm comfortable with (sigh, gorgeous perfect Lariat on my dealer's lot but alas, 1300 lb PL won't cut it).
Does anyone have PowerBoost payload stickers that they can share to give me an idea of what I can expect? Unfortunately where I live (Manitoba, Canada) there's very few if any PowerBoosts on lots to go check out in person.
You can also email some various Dealer lots (even American ones) that have what you want for sale, ask them to send you a picture of the payload sticker. Find the trucks on cars dot com. I highly advise you to use a spare scrappy email address. Good luck, I agree, 1300# isn't going to cut it.

Thanks!
The Payload Sticker for my MY22 SuperCrew, 4x4, 6.5' bed PB XLT 302A is 1645#. I special ordered my truck, being very careful with any ordered options. I probably could have had nearly a couple hundred # if I didn't get the 4x4, I absolutely wanted the 4x4, so I bit the bullet so to speak.

That's right where my 2018 Lariat is without PB. That's pretty impressive! Being a 502A and having the sunroof got me, but I'm still under all relevant weights when towing my 7,000 lb TT. Now, as my kids grow, my truck may need to as well.
Hi from GTA Ontario, Know what your going through...almost bought a 22 PB, settled for a 22 XLT 302a 3.5L for the 1822# payload. Moved up from an 18 XLT 302a 2.7L with 1375# payload. (no sunroof on either truck). Noticeable difference in towing handling & capability. The 2.7L could handle the trailer nicely, the 3.5L just much better with little difference in fuel economy. ( The trailer is a Mini Lite 2109S with GVWR 5726#). Hitch weight on the road is 850# to 930# (measured with a Shureline tongue scale) depending on the water tank level, try to travel with only one third or less. (for what ever reason the Mini Lites are tongue heavy). The highest payload Power Boost hybrid 3.5L I saw in my shopping was 1533# payload. Too light. That hybrid battery is almost 300#. Also: for the hybrid the level of electronic complexity is really concerning. In fact the level of electronic complexity in a regular ICE vehicle today is a worry once the warranty expires. Others may disagree, IMO for a 7000 # GVWR trailer, that is long wide and high, that will have a tongue weight nearly 1000 pounds.... you are into F250 territory.

Not only the battery but also the electric motors add weight. The PB only comes with a 30 gallon gas tank instead of 36. Everything considered, it's a poor choice for trailerinfg.
I just ordered a 3/4T 6.6L gas GMC Denali. Even with a 1650# payload, I am overweight towing a 6500# loaded trailer with 800# of tongue weight measure at a CAT scale. I have a shell on mine.

Poor choice for large, heavy trailers. Certainly not for my 24 ft, 6000# GVWR trailer. Matter of fact it's perfect. I leave my portable gennys and gas at home.

Reason: To correct Trailer GVWR. 6000#, not 5500#.
