Edit, not sure where I got the 1050 from... I forgot that I had a pic in my phone
It's 1508, that seems alot more reasonable

Much better... The higher trims and packages really reduce the PL numbers. Even with the Max Tow and HDPP. Just the nature of the beast I guess.

I know this is whipping a dead horse... but WD hitches don't do anything for the payload capacity correct?

loaded trailer tongue weight + fuel + dog +myself + wife have to be under 1508 to stay legal right?

Correct...anything you put in or on the truck after that sticker is made will go into it...any bed covers, mats, liners, toolboxes, brushguards, floormats, etc....the WDH itself reduces Payload about 100ish pounds. Keep that in mind.

I can't remember for sure, but it seems like PL assumes a tank of gas. Please don't quote me on that.

Also, don't forget the rest of the ratings. GVWR, GCWR, GAWR (fr and rr), etc.

Sorry for the delay on the latest updates. I've been traveling (mostly by train) for the last couple of weeks with very limited internet, and when I did have a car I was in places with limited cell coverage.

The spreadsheet is now up to 80 entries!

Kept the options list really short in an attempt to maximize payload. Was hoping to get over 2386 lbs to future-proof for possible trailer upgrades.

Not the most luxurious truck but it has everything I need. Very nice truck and Sync 3 seems very nice.
Fantastic, they do exist! Great truck. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for the truck, I am thinking about trading up in a year or two for an hd payload truck.

Not cheap. I had an Xplan PIN and with that, the available rebates and $1000 in Ford Customer Cash (make sure to call in to customer service and ask for a brochure 10-15 days before you take delivery) it came to about $10,000 below sticker before TTL. Rebates just about offset NYS tax.

Probably could have negotiated Xplan or better if the vehicle had been in stock having to order it to get the HD Payload and wait for delivery limited my negotiating position I think.

Even with my Xplan, I negotiated a better Trade In price and better interest rate buying off the lot. They would not go that extra few thousand if I ordered. I got lucky and they had my truck, which was what I wanted.

Yep. Having to order put me at a little disadvantage, I think, but now I have the truck and it's all good !
