Angry OEM Brake controller

Hello, new member. I recently bought a 2018 f150 3.5eb fx4 with tow package and it had the factory brake controller installed. I'm only getting it to activate camper brakes with manual slide. Dash says camper is connected, I've set brake at high and gain to 10, wont lock em up. Also, when pressing brake pedal, no info comes on screen. And yes, truck is moving. Anyone else have a similar problem? Thank you

Start off by going into the trailer screen, where you can see how much brake is being applied. The ITBC will provide less brake below 20mph or so.

nothing shows on that screen when applying brakes. I've traveled over 70mph and nothing comes up when applying brakes.

When I got my truck new in 13 they had a fuse and relay in the glove box that had to be plugged in to the fuse box under the hood for the trailer system. Not saying that's what you need to check but yeah.

Do you feel any braking from the trailer?

Only when I use manual slide on brake box. Camper brakes worked fine on my 13 f150 5.0 with aftermarket brake controller

Any chance your under 36,000 miles and can let the dealer sort it out?

Wiring in the truck is good brakes work with manual control
Camper brakes are good work with both this trucks manual control and another F150

All we can do is guess at this point.

Are you up for wild guesses? Today's trucks have lots of computers perhaps a "hard reset" disconnect the battery for 5 mins. Unfortunately the ECM, PCM, and god knows whatever will need to relearn your driving style. I'm out of other guesses sorry.
