Default Jerking when towing

Jerking when towing
I have a 2023 F150 EcoBoost. Towing a dump trailer tandom axle trailer and it is jerking mostly upon acceleration. Alot. It didnt do this with my boat trailer. Same result in tow haul. Had no issues with no trailer. No slack in the trailer hitch. Ideas?
Less than 10k miles.

What kind of brakes are on the trailer?
Is it possible theres something sticking with the trailer brakes?

Thanks, was wondering the same. I had this trailer hooked to my 2010 Ford 250 empty and loaded in last few days and no issue at all. I thought maybe there was a setting I am missing possibly causing it.

Default Tongue weight?

Two axle not level? Two axle attached hitch low reduces tongue weight. Could cause trailer to jerk around on the ball.

Thanks, will check that today. Going to switch to a box trailer for a test run and see if I still have the issue. Maybe that will point me to trailer or truck. Appreciate the input.

As a test, unplug your harness and see if it still does it. This is of course if you have electric brakes. Surge brakes are a whole different story. With surge brakes it could be a weak dampener.

I have determined that it was something coming through the plug and feedback from the trailer. Possibly through the charging wire. Appreciate everyone's insight. Pulling my other trailer without that type of wire and doing great.
