If your asking me, yes I do. I pull a 3000lb camper and it work’s fantastic eliminating bounce and sway. Also improves the ride when not towing.

no just bad paved roads. I rarely go off road. My trailer is a 28 ft 2015 forest river. dry weight is 4600. My 150 is a wheel drive. My wife has back issues and we are looking for a smoother ride. 20 inch wheel and tires. Distribution hitch is new. Thanks

Thanks. I ordered the road active suspension for my 2009 F 150 today. Looks like a possible good fix for a smoother ride. Gerry

Getting rid of the 20” wheels for some 17’s may help take some of the harshness out.

While RAS is great, I don’t know that it’s going to be the miracle fix you’re after.

I’d say a combination, RAS and 18” tires (or 17” if you prefer) would greatly improve the ride and control. Never got the 20” wheel or why they were ever standard equipment.

I agree with others, I specifically ordered 18" wheels for the more rubber, better ride. I might give up a bit of stern performance, but that seems what you want to do. Hope the ras systems improves your ride, keep us posted, good luck.

I've fought with this issue too and I've come to believe that leaf springs and smooth rides on rough roads are mutually exclusive. Since you don't tow a heavy load, and you mentioned air shocks ... have you looked at the RAM 1500? Coils on all four corners. Or, you can get one with air on all 4 corners. I looked at replacing my 2014 F150 with a new RAM this year, thinking the coil or air suspension would give a great ride. Ultimately I decided on the 2023 F150 because the RAM 1500s I saw didn't have enough payload for what I tow. Your needs, though, might make it feasible.

When you get the RAS installed and tested, please let us know how well it worked for you.
