Is it for sale? I have found only a few 2019's with HDPP and they aren't equipped well enough for my liking...but what can one do. Considering I will only be towing a handful of times a year, I guess I will suffer. I would love to find a 2018 Lariat, but no such luck. I'm afraid to admit the hours I have spent looking. Looks like I may be making the 1000 mile trek to Minnesota to get my HDPP. Only thing holding me back now is the wife has been hinting around that she may rather get a Class A.

Same. Have local dealerships on the lookout too. Came up blank.

HDPP only comes in the 6.5' bed flavor for crew cab and 8' for the others. It's a 1500 dollar option.
Odd that one is not a special order. (green sticker)

When searching, have them search for 7850 gvr package. Seems to work better than looking for hdpp.
Really, just order one if you can wait two to three months. Worth it.

Average Joe cannot order anything that is not in the Order Guide. Maybe a fleet customer can? So for a 2019 or 2020 F-150, you cannot "special order" an F-150 with HDPP and better than XLT trim, and it must have the "long" bed = 8' on regular cab and SuperCab, or 6.5" on SuperCrew.

Everything is for sale for the right price!!! I REALLY love my HDPP Lariat. The XLT is a nice package but 301a only means none of the 302a goodies. My last truck was a 302a and I would have been perfectly fine with a 302a HDPP, but the bump down to a 301a would have hurt!!

Good luck... the worst part is when you start cross shopping 250s and realize they can be bad for the same or less money than a HDPP!! Makes up for the mpg hit on that 6.2L.

So I'm about ready to pull the trigger on this 2019 in Minnesota. Just put in for a quote on a 2020 build, but I doubt he's gonna get close enough to the price I got for the 2019. I have to drive it back to Ohio. Anybody feel running 800 highway miles right off the bat is a bad idea for the break-in?

Yeah, I'd map something out on backroads for the first 2-300 miles minimum just to vary gear changes, speeds, and RPMs. Add in some hills and load changes, and find a dirt road to go into 4WD H and L ranges for a few miles each. Bad idea to break it in at a constant speed/load.
