Harsh vibration while towing
Hey folks,
Vehicle in question is a 2017 F150, 3.5/10 speed. Factory tow package.
I hooked up a small trailer w/ side by side today (3500lbs total) and above 60mph I got a pretty bad vibration. I could feel it in the steering wheel (visibly shaking if I let go) and could feel it through the seat as well. Towed the same setup with my '13 F150 and it didn't shake at all. Between 70-75 mph the vibration decreased.
Unloaded, the truck rides like butter. No vibration at all. Little puzzled at this point.
All tire pressures are were they should be, trailer was just serviced and everything is tight and new.

I get weird vibrations at certain speeds with my snowmobile trailer behind the JGCL. Nothing with my truck. Happens with my buddies Edge.
My issues is an aerodynamic issue.
Was the trailer loaded? If not, put 500#s in and see what happens.

Tire out of balance on the trailer maybe? load the sxs on backwards the next time and see if the weight shift changes any thing, its not the truck for sure or it would happen with out the trailer ,

^ I have the 10 speed, nothing relating to your 6 speed is relevant. Nice truck though!
