My loads ..
Are you seriously suggesting a transmission update for a visibly-moving steering wheel while towing?

Yes im saying the programming......mine had terrible shake when i first started to tow with it....chatter/ shake the whole truck....almost like the trans and sway control/electric steering were fighting each others functions.....

I was going to suggest pinion angle, but you don't have enough load to upset driveline angles. I second the take it in, after verifying it isn't a bad wheel on the trailer.

The picture of the old truck shows the ball to be a little high. If your new truck is taller you may need more drop in the ball connector to level the trailer. In my experience, trailers tow better when level. Although I have had no vibration like you stated when he trailer is not level.

^ Thanks for the idea!

That pic looks like that because there's a hill crest right in the center, making it look like it's sitting high. When towing with either truck it's perfectly level.

So I swapped the side by side around so it's facing backwards, same vibration while driving today. Trailer has been inspected as well and no issues have been found.

Kinda thinking it might be an aerodynamic thing? Something maybe a tiny bit different shape on this 17 that makes it vibrate? Kinda driving me nuts.

While on the subject though, I noticed while trying to track down this vibration that the trailer needs more tongue weight. The wheels are really far forward and it has very little tongue weight. Any suggestions?

That may be the problem... bumps causing the tongue weight to vary because of bounce. Maybe the wind drag causing the tongue weight to lighten. That trailer is essentially a see-saw with only one axel and you have a high center of gravity with that load. Not sure why it would get better at higher speed though...

Well I thought it was tongue weight causing the vibration, but when I flip the side by side around so it has more tongue weight it has the same vibration. (I can't have the side by side on backwards because the wind on the highway wrecked the first windshield (bent the mounting brackets and pulled the windshield out completely at 70mph)

My suggestion is load up your trailer and have a tech from the dealership ride with you.

Wondering if the vibration is coming from the cargo and not the trailer. I don't know what you could load up the trailer with to mimic the weight of the 4x, but thats what I would do to eliminate the trailer as the issue.
