Default Extra tie downs

I need some help please. I want to add extra tie down points in my bed. I don't want to get all expensive because it's not an everyday thing. I just want more tie down points. I was gonna buy some hooks and sheet metal screws from the hardware store. Has anyone done this and how strong are they

You would probably get more strength out of something like this
Amazon.com: Bull Ring 4055 for 1998-2014 Ford Short Bed-w/ Hidden Pockets, Retractable, Factory Direct, 1-pair: Automotive Amazon.com: Bull Ring 4055 for 1998-2014 Ford Short Bed-w/ Hidden Pockets, Retractable, Factory Direct, 1-pair: Automotive

Bull rings are good if you are going to install them in the stake pockets. Try these, they clamp to the side rails anywhere you want and are removable.

I've been thinking about mounting some of these E-track slots in the bed:

I bought a pair of these at Canadian Tire last week for $15 each. Used them on friday to hold some pallets down.

Yeah, but how are you suppose to get to the back to put the nuts on? I want hooks on the side up high not on the floor.

I know how strong the stock tie downs are......that's your problem with the nuts...

Would not use sheet metal screws.
You will pull them out.
If you can't figure out how to use bolts and nuts, don't do anything.
Just my opinion.
