If you are using Stable loads now, I wouldn't add anything. Those work great! So many f250 and f350 use them instead of air bags.

The Stable Loads are very intriguing as they can be completely disengaged while the truck is empty and engaged only before a load (preparing to tow or carry weight in the bed) is applied. The simplicity of the design is great too.

Old thread I know. Anyone upgrade from a 2-pack to a 3-pack rear leaf? Did it lift/raise their truck. Not wanting it to is why I am asking.

Won't raise it significantly but will maintain original height better as the truck is loaded up.

Yes, it affects your payload by LOWERING it. The added weight of the additional leafs comes right off the top of your rated payload.

Check out SuperSprings. These are the ones for a 2018 4x4 F150 they sell them for a RWD as well. So thing is they will raise the rear about 1-1.5 inch and when not having the weight in the back the ride will be stiffer. But they do help prevent rear sag by providing a 1,500 load leveling capacity. Kind of like a rear air bag system, only this will be like if you had the bags full all the time. I sell them for like fleet companies that have the service stuff in the rear and bunch of equipment. Give you a better ride and none or less sag if you keep weight on it all the time. You can get them through your local 4 Wheel Parts store even if they don't show available on the Super Springs site.
