Default Air Lift 88284 2015 F150 ride is terrible!

Caution

Last week I installed Air Lifts ultimate 5000 series air bag on my truck to help out when towing. The installation is easy and well designed but there is no travel for the suspension. At stock ride height the bag was compressed on to the internal jounce bumper. I called Air Lift and the tech guy knew exactly what I was talking about and said they do not recommend that kit for stock applications and that there is no room for the bag to fit. I don't know why they sell it and unless you lift your truck using new leaf springs the ride is going to suck.

With air in the bags the ride is improved but then the rear end is jacked up and its still bouncy as hell. My pregnant wife was kind enough to remind me in between her naps on our road trip.

I have a canopy and a few things in the bed. Even with air in the bag there is no room for suspension travel

"Includes industry-exclusive 60 Day No Questions Money Back Guarantee"

I think I'd take them up on this offer and go to a Firestone system.

so you ordered some firestone then to try out? let us know how they work out.

To me it looks like the bottom bracket is to long on the airlift from your picture and that it compresses the bag way to much

I have their ride control kit coming. Bags are mounted outboard of the frame. Much taller bag as well. Had them on my Dakota. The dude from air lift said the same thing about the bracket.

I took a look at the Firestone ride rite airbags and the look like the sit on top of the spring and have a bracket that attaches it to the frame. Much more clearance than the air ride ones you had.
