Default 2020 F150 5.0V8 towing is terrible NO POWER!

Hi so hope someone can assist or tell me why my towing is so terrible. I have a boat on trailer that is about 4500lbs to 5000LBS I use to tow it with a 2006 Nissan pathfinder 4LV6 with max towing of 6000LBS. It towed it but could feel it was almost at limit. So traded it in on a 2020 F150 XLT 5.0V8 Supercrew with 9500LBS towing. Today was first time towing it and it sucked. Thought it would be champ but more like chump. Struggled to reach 60 to 70kmph and up hills 30kmph. This in haul mode.
Does anyone have any advice or something for me so upset and disappointed in the F150.

Seriously though the 5.0 makes it’s power pretty high in the RPM range and is certainly capable of towing your setup.

Check the brakes on the trailer? With surge brakes it's hard to tell what they're doing. Also, immediately after a tow session, check for any heat buildup around the wheels of the trailer but be careful because it could burn you if there is a problem.

You have an issue. My '20 5.0 with 3.31 gears tows my 4200lb enclosed snowmobile trailer and my 5400lb boat with absolutely no issue, drama or effort. In fact I get almost 14mpg pulling my boat in tow haul mode, and she's a big girl.

You need to provide more details. What were your RPMs when you say it was really struggling to maintain speed? The 5.0 V8 needs to rev at higher RPMs to achieve max torque. You certainly should not be redlining though.

F150 without the V8 sound is like Free bird without the guitar solos.

I don't understand why anyone really cares what someone else bought.
