2016 with basic tow needing to haul 5,700 lbs

So now on the topic of the aux trans cooler, has anyone installed a factory cooler after the fact? I found the diagram/parts list. Aux Trans Cooler Diagram
Update: Got a quote from the local dealer to install the factory aux trans cooler, $450 + or - for parts and labor, depending on how much fluid they need to use. I am probably going to go this route.

So now I have a question for the experts. I believe my truck has the 53A package as my window sticker says trailer tow package, but I do not have the upgraded rear axle nor the upgraded rear bumper. I have the build sheet and window sticker for my truck and no where on either do I see it reference these three packages and which one I have. Am I overlooking it? Also, why does the 53A package have an engine oil cooler and the 53C does not. 53C would be the max tow package.

The window sticker doesn't reference the number of the tow package of the truck. If your sticker says "trailer tow package" you have 53A, if it says "max trailer tow package" you have 53C. If you have the 4pin/7pin connector in the rear bumper, but nothing else showing on your window sticker, you have 53B. If you don't have anything showing on the sticker and no 4pin/7pin connector in the bumper, you have no tow package and are limited to 5000lbs. Seems strange to build a 3.5 eco without any kind of tow package, honestly.

If you do not have the aux trans cooler then that means you have the 53B package per page 14 in the towing guide. This also means you do not have the "upgraded front stabilizer bar" also. Easy to tell if you have the aux trans cooler or not as it is mounted on the front side of the radiator and you can see it through the grill of the truck.

Technically, ALL 150's are tow ready in the form of a hole in the bumper that accepts a ball. The tow packages target regular towers that want certain capabilities immediately upon purchase... night towing, brake control, higher tongue weight capacity, better heat management for larger trailers, etc. The guys doing lawn maintenance don't need all of that, although arguably a tow package is required because the height of the bumper ball mount makes it practically useless except for off-road trailers.

A whole lot of 150's never tow a thing, including the 3.5 eco's. Many just get the bed loaded on occasion. Some never exceed half their payload rating.

As an update to my new-to-me F150. I now have the OEM ITBC and Aux Trans Cooler. I'm confident I will be able to pull the 6,000 lbs. I will still verify the tongue weight of the trailer along with my cargo for purposes of ensuring I do not exceed any of the weight capacities.
Thanks again everyone for you assistance. Keep this thread going if there are more questions and info.
