Default What temperatures/sensors to monitor while towing
Hi All,

I have an app that gives me access to monitor any sensor in my truck, what should I keep an eye on while towing?

Your dash cluster should give you all the info you need except for maybe water temp. Suggest you get a TPMS for what ever you have in mind to tow, blow outs on trailers suck.

Off the top of my head, I like to monitor trans temp, engine coolant temp, boost, & knock sensors. I think that's what I have my SCT set up for.

My XLT dash cluster will show ATF temp if I scroll over to it, tire pressure, etc. Just have to scroll around using the steering wheel control buttons. Higher trim levels have more options from what I've read.

I often check the trans temp and tire pressure. Try to avoid the fuel mileage cuz that'll just make u cringe lol
