Ah, yeah, you're right. Not sure why I assumed he didn't, he must though. Also looks like it's 4x2 as well. Nice payload for a 2.7L either way!

Yeah, I see that HD as well. I'd assume this means you have the payload package, but who knows. Do you have the 3.73 gear ratio?

I have the HD frame on my 2.7 4x4 SCrew, and have the 6600# payload package, not HDPP.

My 2019 had a payload of 1535# and it was a Supercrew 4x4 302A. So a 4x2 STX having 217# more payload makes sense to me. Not having 4x4 would increase payload considerably in itself.

I was wondering what frame tag is under my present frame tag (from pic above) the bar codes look alike on the right side but cant see them in the left side. Ford has done a great job of confusion with add ons that increase towing capacity some just make no sense one truck bare cant tow as much as another truck with same engine/trans frame but with tow tech (electronics mainly) rear diff adds in reality very little but aids in pulling from a dead stop (driving practices can do the same) Suspension (air springs can fix this unless you really dont have an issue with sagging) Solid front sway (really?) at the end of the day its really up to the eng and tranny. I pull my camper fine with no issues would a bigger truck do better probably but this is what I have and I only camp in FL and Maybe GA in the future a couple times a year as the snowbirds seem to have all of our campgrounds tied up for 6 months of the year. Had a RAM 1500 with a 5.7 prior to the dealer lie about my F150 towing capacity (10K) I still will say that F150 pulls far better than the Ram

All SuperCrew and SuperCab 2021 F150s have the HD frame as a minimum, the LD frame is only possible on the Regular Cab. Source: https://fordbbas.com/publications -> vehicle specifications -> show more -> 2021 F150 -> "2021 F150 > Specs > Chassis". HD frame can be found in 3.5 and 5L F150s with 7000lbs GVWR so plenty of capability for 2.7 trucks with max 6900lbs GVWR rating.

In that same doc you can review what the 2.7 payload package does, see "Weight Ratings - 4x4". A supercrew 2.7 is 6600 GVWR nominally, 6900 with payload package. FAWR is the same, RAWR increases from 3400 to 3800 so all the upgrades are in the back of the truck (suspension, axle).
