Default Site loading/posting slow

Just started the last few days. Is it increased traffic slowing things down or pc issues on my end?

Oh well, should probably be working anyway.

Been working fine on my end.
Do you ever clear your history out?
Scan?
What windows do you have?
What browser? Try reloading the browser?

I haven't experienced any loading delays.

I have had a few of the ad's take over my page with loud audio, maybe as many as a half-dozen times. I haven't seen that in at least a week though.

History cleared.
Not sure what scan refers to? It's a work pc, so can't make any real changes, otherwise IT gets grumpy.
Windows 10 as far as I know.
Chrome.

The ads are a ridiculous annoyance for sure. And, I've never seen so many competition ads on a brand centered site as here. I've never seen more GM/Chebby ads as I do on this Ford forum.

So I checked and the site runs like sh*t on home PC also. Dunno. Guess I'll live with it, not like I post much that much anyway.

Performance seems fine for me on a work PC and my personal PC.

I have not seen any hints of performance problems.
It is not uncommon for a site to slow down due to ad's if viewing the forum while not logged in. Once logged in though we are treated just well enough to not be as bogged down by ad's.

I used to visit a forum that was not worth visiting from a work PC, even logged in. While not logged in it was a joke, logging in was at least tolerable but was slow. Especially on the work PC.
I think our IT strategy has changed a bit over the years. I don't seem to have issues accessing anything on my work PC that I can't get to on a home PC, with exception to proxies of course.

I am also using Chrome -have you visited the site with a different browser?

Yes, it's much worse loading pages when not logged in. Last night from the home PC I got a redirect error also and the same with a few other sites.

I'm not a technology person, don't know how to switch or change browsers. It's all foreign to me.

By changing browsers I just meant to see if site access is better using Microsoft Edge browser, or Firefox instead of Chrome.
